Let me tell you a bit about how I became a Stones fan..... Many call me obsessed, I call me an enthusiast! I have only really appreciated the Rolling Stones' music for about two and a half years now. A couple of years ago I couldn't have given a monkeys about whether the Rolling Stones or the Beatles came out on top. Then I went to High School, and my perspective changed! One of my teachers (naming no names, he knows who he is!) inspired me. As I was listening to my music on my walkman, he said to me 'What are you listening to that crap for? Listen to a good song for once in your life' and he put on 'Wild Horses'. Ever since that moment I have been intregued. Many of my friends got annoyed with me boasting that I could name the 40-long playlist for Forty Licks and got really annoyed with my singing. Ever since I heard the last note of my first Rolling Stones song, I wanted to hear more....
Now for the interesting stuff. www.rollingstones.com is closing down in 12 days. Then it'll be re-opened and it will be new! new! new! I don't know if I am going to rejoin yet, if I do, I need to start saving for £50. I didn't have to pay last time, I joined for '30 days' free with my 4F DvD! But after a couple of months, I am still there. LoL! I will miss most of them. I am so glad that Jaggerville is free (www.mickjagger.com) I couldn't live without that place!
I went to Birmingham (Hi Jay!) for my first two Snowboarding lessons last weekend. It was great fun! And my instructor was really nice. I was with 3 girls (I am so glad that there weren't any boys!) 2 American girls and one from around Birmingham called Jamie. She was friendly! The other girls were mostly talking amongst themselves. I was the first to be able to go down backwards, but I couldn't get used to going down forwards! I kept falling down, and even landed on Tony a few times! ;) Once I was going down the slope really quickly and fell on my knee. Ouch-kabibble! It really hurt. I can walk properly on it now, but I was limping for a few days.
What else has happened this week? Not much. School feels like a chore this week. I normally love it. After the devastating news that Laura and Rachael can't go to the festival in Cambdrige to see the Counterfeit Stones (www.counterfeitstones.net a tribute band for the Rolling stones. They are fantastic!) I have to find someone else to go with. Never mind, girls, Perhaps they have set a date for Ipswich now!
I know I promised the people I know that I wouldn't get into Big Brother, but I can't help myself. It is fantastic this year! And after Emma and Michelle's re-entry into the house, my eyes shall be glued to the screen tonight at 10pm.
I think I have rambled enough for now. If I think of anything else, I will let you know!
~Love and Kisses~
